Rainbow Cinemas are part of the Magic Lantern Theatres, which is an Edmonton based, Canadian Film Exhibition Company established in 1980. The company currently operates 16 cinemas with 78 screens across Canada.

Most of our staff members are cross-trained in box-office cash, concessions, ushering, projection, cleaning and minor maintenance duties. Our practical training and guidance program will provide you with a well-rounded experience in cinema operations, which may develop into a long-term membership in the Rainbow/Magic Lantern family. Many of our senior managers have advanced through the ranks and stayed with us since inception.
