The Night Before
Three childhood friends come together for their annual Christmas tradition in New York City. Isaac is about to have a baby, Max has suffered a devastating injury as a pro football wide receiver that may end his career, and Ethan just broke up with his girlfriend, has no income, very few prospects, and also his dad died. As they hit up bars and parties they realize they are all at the crossroads of growing up and taking responsibility for their lives. Isaac devotes himself to his wife and the anticipation of their newborn, Max confesses to the world that he's taken steroids and retires from football, while Ethan accepts his father's death, reconnects with his mother, and finally moves on from his ex-girlfriend.Director: Jonathan Levine
